Care Instructions

General placement: Keep indoors in a dry, well ventilated space. Avoid direct sunlight to reduce fading and drying of velvet and rattan. Keep away from heat sources such as heaters and fireplaces, and from air conditioning airflow.

Velvet upholstery: Vacuum regularly using a soft brush attachment.
For spills, blot immediately with a clean dry cloth, do not rub.
For light marks, use a slightly damp cloth with mild soap, test first on an inconspicuous area, then blot dry.
For deeper stains, we recommend professional upholstery cleaning. Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach, and solvent based cleaners.

Rattan sections: Dust gently with a soft dry cloth, or vacuum carefully with a soft brush attachment.
Do not soak. Wipe with a barely damp cloth only, then dry straight away.
Keep humidity stable where possible. Very dry air can make rattan brittle, and high moisture can cause swelling.

Wood legs: Wipe with a soft slightly damp cloth, then dry immediately.
Use felt pads under the legs to protect floors and reduce movement.
Avoid placing on wet surfaces or leaving spills to sit on the timber.

Cushions and foam: Rotate cushions regularly for even wear.
Avoid sitting on the arms or backrest to prevent stress on the frame and foam.

Maintenance: Check and tighten fittings every 3 to 6 months as part of normal care.
